For individuals, our experience includes H1b visas, family-based immigration, sponsorship,  fiancé visas, asylum, naturalization, and U.S. citizenship. We handle EB1 expedited green cards for aliens of extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business and athletics. 

On the business side, we handle all types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas including H1b, PERM,  E1/E2 treaty traders and investor visas, L1 intra company transfer visas, O, P, foreign professionals, and multinational managers. We also handle EB5 investor green cards.

History

Established in 2011.

Mr. Syed graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester (1997) and obtained his law degree from the George Washington University Law School (2000).  In 2007 he completed the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers (mediation workshop).

Mr. Syed founded The Syed Law Firm, PLLC in 2011 and has developed a thriving immigration, litigation and international business practice.  His past experience includes several years in the antitrust and business disputes section of the law firm of King & Ballow with offices in Nashville, TN and La Jolla, CA.  Mr. Syed previously practiced litigation at Ashcraft & Gerel, LLP in Washington, D.C. with offices and active cases nationwide focusing on tort and complex civil disputes.  He has also worked for the Civil Litigation Branch of the District of Columbia Office of Attorney General (formerly D.C. Office of Corporation Counsel), as well as Rizvi, Isa, Afridi and Angell, a leading corporate law firm in Karachi, Pakistan.
