Mr. David Swaim is the Managing Partner of David Swaim & Associates and has practiced immigration law exclusively since 1986. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Immigration and Nationality Law. Tidwell, Swaim & Farquhar was founded in 1978 and has represented over 45,000 clients in all areas of immigration law with a 95% approval rate. Mr. Swaim represents clients before the Immigration Service, Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals, the Department of Labor, the US State Department and its Consulates throughout the world, and in Federal Court. He created and managed the immigration programs at companies such as Bell Northern Research (BNR), Texas Instruments, i2 Technologies, PDX, Perot Systems, and over 100 multinational companies. He represents major universities such as the UT System including UT Dallas as well as private universities such as Texas Christian University and Baylor University, among others.
He is the founding member and past Chairman of the DallasHR (SHRM) Global HR Professional Emphasis Group (PEG). Since 1991, Mr. Swaim has provided immigration law seminars to the foreign students and faculty at UT Austin, UT Dallas, Texas A&M (all campuses), TCU, UNT, Texas Tech and Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary.
