Our attorneys handle family-based and marriage-based green cards, adjustment of status, K-1 fiancé visas, I-130 petitions, naturalization and U.S. citizenship, asylum, and deportation defense.
The firm also runs one of the most active federal immigration litigation practices in the country, with more than 2,000 federal lawsuits filed. When a USCIS or State Department case has been stuck for months or years, a mandamus lawsuit asks a federal judge to order the government to make a decision.
Jim started the firm after seeing too many immigrants lose time, money, and sometimes their cases to notarios and poorly prepared filings. That is still the focus today: careful preparation, honest advice, and pushing back when the government doesn't follow the law.
Jim also hosts the Immigration Answers Show, a live program with more than 1,000 episodes where he answers immigration questions from viewers.
