Beyond representing his clients, he has served on the Executive Board of the LA County Bar Association - Immigration Law Section since 2006. Robert Jacobs has been the moderator and/or a speaker at 13 CLE Seminars on Immigration Law and Post Conviction relief teaching other lawyers. He has also been a past Trustee of the Mexican American Bar Association and Southeast District Bar Association, a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2000, and Past President of his Kiwanis Community Service Club.
