Carlos Quichiz is one of the three founding partners of JRQ & Associates. His areas of practice include immigration, bankruptcy, mortgage foreclosure and general civil practice.
Originally born in Peru and having immigrated to the United States in 1991, Mr. Quichiz brings a unique perspective to JRQ, particularly with regard to its immigration practice. Prior to forming JRQ, Carlos practiced in the areas of mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy at two prior law firms.
He attended the University of Connecticut where he received his bachelor’s degrees in history and political science. Afterward, he began working at an immigration law firm, where he worked for three years, and discovered his interest in law, particularly immigration law. He then attended the Chicago-Kent School of Law.
In his free time, Mr. Quichiz enjoys sports and staying active. He is an avid runner, having recently completed the 2013 Chicago Marathon with plans to run in more marathons in the future. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as his two beagles Tigo and Migo. He loves Chicago and enjoys exploring everything that the city has to offer.
Mr. Quichiz is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois as well as the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
