Ileana Rivera has ten years of specialized experience in immigration law. She is dedicated to providing honest assessments and the best options for your immigration process. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico and a juris doctor from Interamerican University. In 2013, she became a member of the Puerto Rican Bar and the U.S. District Court.
Ileana’s legal experience is diverse. She has practiced criminal defense with the Public Defender’s Office of Puerto Rico, clerked for a U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge, interned at the Interamerican University Legal Clinic, and worked pro bono for the Puerto Rico Bar Association. Most notably, she spent two years working for the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, where she created and implemented an educational program to inform visitors about the judicial system and the history of the Supreme Court.
Since 2014, Ileana Rivera has managed and owned several law firms. In 2023, she established Immigration Universe Attorneys, where she practices U.S. Immigration Law across the United States and its territories. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and provides CLE courses for the members.
